Die Inschrift nennt den Namen des Künstlers: ustad Muhammad b. al-Husain najjar, bekannt als Kanakard (?) aus der Province Rudi sowie den Kalligraphen, einen Mahmud b. ***. Außerdem geht aus ihr hervor, daß in dem Imamzadeh die Nachkommen von Imam Musa al-Kazim (7. Imam, gest. 799/ 183 H.) bestattet waren (Aukt. Kat. Christie's).
