Weder Rabino (1928, 19-21, pers. Text) noch Hillenbrand (in Golombek/ Wilber, 436-37) erwähnen den Kenotaph. Sotudeh (IV, 268) geben die Inschrift wieder, in der der Auftraggeber (Sayyid Murtaza b. Sayyid Shams ad-Din b. Sayyid Husain Kiya b. Sayyid Abdallah b. Sayyid Ali Kiya Babalkan), das Datum Ramadan 835 H. (beg. 2. Mai 1432) sowie die beiden Handwerker - Fakhr ad-Din wa akhuhu (sein Bruder) Muhammad b. Ali ... - genannt sind. Die Angaben werden in Mausolean Monuments, 131 übernommen.
