Der Kenotaph in der Kevorkian Collection (welcher?) soll laut Bronstein (1938, 2624) ganz ähnlich sein. Gut vergleichbar ist das Medaillon-Ornament eines Bucheinbandes aus Leder, dat. 1494/ 899 H. (Kat. Istanbul 1983, E.12, 113, Abb. S. 112).

Die Inschrift beginnt oben rechts mit 36. Koransure "ya-sin", die Inschrift auf dem unteren Rahmen gehört zur gleichen Sure, setzt aber nicht unmittelbar an, d.h. die Inschrift lief oben zunächst an allen vier Seiten (des Kenotaphs) entlang, bevor sie auf dem unteren Rahmen fortgesetzt wurde (die Lesung wird Dr. Muhammad Ababneh, Berlin, verdankt).
